Unweighted? They don’t.

Where does everyone have a 3.9 or better?

Have you ever seen anybody post in the College and University Discussion who doesn't claim their kid has at least a 3.9? I have not.

If you're talking unweighted don't worry, plenty of kids fall below that.

Maybe because you don't read every post?

My DC has an unweighted 3.5.

Mine does have an UW 3.98.

Those with lower than 3.9 unweighted aren’t as stressed about the top schools. It’s the same on every college forum. The parents here generally have high flying kids.

Seriously, show the posts saying this. There must be 20 posts by parents of kids with impeccable numbers for every post about a kid with a GPA between 3.0 and a 3.5.

You mean if everyone on this tiny forum, in this tiny subsection of the country, who contribute to the few threads applicable, claim their kid has a 3.9 we have a problem?!! That’s like 100 people max.

My DD does have a 3.9 unweighted. All A’s in all honors and AP’s and one A minus freshman year. It’s the truth. Not my accomplishment but hers.

Views aren’t necessarily the same as people. It may be 30 people who are following.
