Farmland ES student death

Anonymous
This is so tragic and my heart goes out to everyone--parents, school staff, fellow students.

The reporting I have seen is not clear as to whether there was a public health concern in this situation, or whether this sudden death was the result of a medical problem that was not communicable. Does anyone know?

And please let's try to respect these folks' privacy otherwise.

Lord have mercy.

Real rich OP. You cant say "respect the family's privacy" while also trying to get info on this.if there was anything you needed to personally be concerned about, you would have been notified. This post is disgusting

Oh get over yourself with the name-calling. If I had a child at that school I sure as hell would want to know what happened too. I believe most parents at the school would.

Pathetic that you make it about you.

You are awful OP. Respect the family’s privacy? How about don’t post on DCUM? The family will either share what happened in their obituary or not. It’s none of your business (and stop with BS about needing to know if it’s a public health concern. If it is, public health department would let families know.)

Given the rapid time line, it sounds like a medical condition rather than Covid.

It would have been enough to just share your condolences, OP. Speculating about the cause of death is just ghoulish.

My heart goes out to this family, and to all of the kids impacted. How terrifying.

Agree. Communicable conditions don’t move this fast, so OP can relax. How horrible.

We personally know families impacted by a sudden medical emergency resulting in death, and it’s sick what people thought was their right to know. This is a tragedy, and OP does not have good intentions. Selfish to act like they do when their Larla/o is alive and well. Very skewed perspective.

Given this pearl-clutching I would have expected the other thread on this awful tragedy to take a very different direction but...apparently not. I wonder why.

There's a lot of misinformation in this thread. Yes they can.
first the school has said there is NO COMMUNITY DANGER.
But if you want to be technical there are many conditions that move that quickly. Look at Ebola and covid can too in some cases.
