Succession--does it get better?

Finished Season 1 episode 1 & 2 and both my spouse and I found it awful.

The kids are so unbelievably dumb and act like 7 year olds. The thing is over-dramatic and the cousin Gregg is a mental midget.

Does it truly get better?

I'm trying to get through Season 1 but I find that I'm always losing interest.

It took me a while to get into it. One key is to remember it's satire.

It gets better. Its really good! I think if you like Arrested Development, Schitts Creek, 30 Rock, Veep, those type of satire shows, you should stick around.

I would think if you didn't like it by ep 3 then you should abandon ship. Not every thing is for everyone!

One of my biggest pet peeves is people saying "this show is boring" or "that outfit is ugly." No, you thought the show was boring or the outfit wasn't to your taste. Blergh!

I’d say try to get through episode 3. I found the first few eps really boring but boy is it worth it!

I fell asleep during a few of the first episodes in season 1, but I stuck with it and eventually got a little obsessed. Season 2 was kind of up and down. First episode of season 3 was a total snooze, so we’ll see.
