And why?
|
| K and because it’s better |
| In our family, it’s Kathryn. Don’t know why. |
| K |
| Catherine. For sure. Prettier. |
| Catherine. It’s softer looking and works in both English and French. |
This was the start of the “K” trend. Now it blends into the Kre8tive spelling of traditional names—though admittedly much less cringeworthy than most. It’s “tacky light” |
I prefer Catherine to Katherine but there is no universe where Katherine is tacky light. |
+1 |
| Katherine for sure. |
| Catherine because the it looks visually better. |
| I spelled it with a K for my DD. I don’t care for the nn Cathy and thought the K spelling worked better for the nn Kate. |
| I was raised as a Katherine but in college changed my name legally to Catharine. I saw that spelling, fell in love with it, and for 20+ years I have been Catharine. |
| Anything but Kathryn. That’s so low class. |
