I know a Catherine who goes by Kate and a Catherine who goes by Kathy. |
Actually, Kate Middleton’s real name is Catherine. So Kate would work with either C or K. But use a C if you want to be higher up alphabetically. Both are lovely. |
I find that strange. |
Ok? |
You think Kelly is a trashy name? |
I know multiple Catherines who go by Katie. Maybe that's weird, but it certainly didn't stop them. (I prefer the C spelling, but I don't have strong feelings. I like Kathryn, a la Janeway, too) |
What names do you like? I don't think any of the above names are "trashy." And how on earth is "Kevin" trashy? Or Kenneth? Or Kathleen? |
Well I like the name Catherine! Anne, Elizabeth, Sarah, Rose, Alexandra, Mary, Claire, Alice, Charlotte, Louisa, Margaret, Caroline. Andrew, Thomas, David, Michael, Paul, Samuel, George, Henry, Benjamin, Francis, William, Peter, Charles. |
|
K. Is the British spelling .
C. Is the American spelling. |
Except not really. |
That was my point, brainiac.
|
There is also Kathryn. There are people with real problems and you are not one of them! Who gives a rat's behind?! |
|
Personal or nickname preference - it's not that deep.
In our family it's Katherine - my grandmother's first name, my middle name, and my daughter's first name. |
| Just go with Catriona and move along. |
NP here. Yes, I do. |
