The FC Richmond girls left at U11 the past two years for the Strikers.

Okay take the top three girls from Loudoun, Arlington, BSC and VSA plus two girls from any other club in the DMV. Have that team play the Richmond Strikers plus what ever girls you want from the kickers and FC Richmond. How will that work out?

Agreed. You can use the same logic to show why a collection of top players from smaller clubs at younger ages like U12 could beat top teams from Loudoun, Arlington, BSC.

I would not be too chesty, Red is like the 4th best team in that flight(arguably lower). Looks like they are getting some home tournament cooking. That said Mclean would not be in that flight.

Arlington should win that side of the bracket. The 3 big threats - Loudoun, Strikers and SYC are all on the other side. It's almost like this may be an Arlington tournament

Can't be too slanted in ARL favor; they have to play the reigning state champion....

You Red parents better stop checking your email for DA notices and start complaining about the seeding...man state champion? What was ASA thinking!

Nobody checks their mail if they are guaranteed a spot to the “DA.” I am sure they will find something else to complain about and you will find something else to be dumb about.

Lots and lots and lots of sad and cheap talk here!! For all the folks crowing and strutting about your special little 11/12 year old darlings, don't be surprised when they lose interest in struggling to keep up with the crushing pressure of your insecurities. Just let them have fun and play!

Got to get ready for that college scouting!

Arlington could not have stacked the bracket as the Red team is playing the WAGS champion. Should be a great set of games all weekend.

Red girls definitely not guaranteed DA slots. Arlington only offering a handful of roster slots initially and actively recruiting from other clubs.

If your DD is interested - contact the club directly.

So you must have already got your DD DA invite and now you want to clean out the deadwood?

Ha! No DA invite . . . the club knows which Arlington girls they want. Nothing changes that.

They have made it abundantly clear that they are looking to recruit at ASSIST and Jeff Cup.

What do you mean “abundantly clear”?
