I don't have a dog in this fight but maybe if you heard something like that, it was just a rumor. Or even spread on purpose to try to absolve the host family of responsibility. But the police likely have the GPS of four cell phones that night tracing the car from the party to wherever. Whatever they did or wherever they went, there's tons of evidence nobody ever thinks about. |
Seems like the point is pretty well made. |
| Point is, there ain't nobody going to the slammer. This ain't the hood, you know. |
| Lobby your law makers. |
According to the Bethesda Magazine article, Montgomery County already has the necessary laws to put Lawyer Saltzman in jail. But if the judge is your buddy, good luck with that. |
When you're connected to important people, it's quite simple. |
| There's legal precedent that allows the hosting parents to plead out. Presumably the facts in this case may warrant jail time. If, however, the teens left the house with a designated driver, as has been circulating, my guess is that the host does not go to jail. Being a friend or not of the judge doesn't matter. It will be up to the prosecutor and perhaps a jury. |
Who are you saying was the designated driver? Ellis? You're talking again like a real shyster. Is that helpful? |
? It is a helpful explanation/opinion of some possible outcomes. What is your problem? |
The only one who seems to be "circulating" your little story, is... Are you ready?.....Is YOU! I see how you'd be the life of any party! |
| This Kenneth Saltzman guy does not seem to be a licensed attorney. |
Ok. Got it now. You're the bully pretend owner of this thread and only you can comment and it'syour job to shut down any other poster. |
Please focus on the facts here, Mr. Attorney. Exactly who else is circulating your little story? |
Based on what? Another "circulating" story? |
| You keep proving the point that you're the bully, self-appointed owner of every discussion. There was or wasn't a designated (sober) driver. That's all we know for sure. Let others share their thoughts and: Get over yourself. |
