| Nothing but a big hug!! My sons wouldn't want to carry around balloons and definitely "no" to the flowers. |
| My grandson is graduating tonight. He likes Skittles so I’m getting him a big bag of them. When his sister graduated four years ago she received flowers after the ceremony. |
Some people have allergies. I hate this. It's like wearing perfume |
If your insta followers see you give flowers at home, they will probably think it's photoshopped. Best to give them infront of everyone so the girls can see who got the Biggers, most expensive bouquet and is therefore has more intrinsic value as a person. |
Because it would embarrass the hell out of your 13 YO middle school son. |
| Don't give someone something where they have to awkwardly carry it around until they get home. |

About 1/3 of the girls in my daughter's graduation class carried flowers when walking into the room.
I, too, wondered about my grandson. I decided to buy some sunflower. Think I'll peek in their dressing room to see what the trend is His graduation party will be two weeks later. Gift will be money, he has an signature pen. I did think of an ... a gas gift card. |
Seriously? DC here and girls get flowers after graduations & promotion ceremonies, choir/band performances, plays, etc starting in elementary school and it doesn't stop. When my boys were little we used to give them "bouquets" of lollipops, but stopped in middle school. |
The girls at our school carry flowers, but the school provides them so they are all the same. |
| I was but searching if you give boys flowers too after graduation. At least half of the girls or more her flowers handed to them after graduation at almost every graduation that I have ever attended. And I believe a lot of boys do also. Just couldn’t remember for sure in the boys. So thought I’d search it up. It it’s definitely a thing already that girls get flowers majority of the time. Curious for those that went to the graduation’s mentioned, did you see the girls getting flowers? And did you see the boys getting anything? |
| My son received balloons with one balloon shape with a black grad hat |
| Nothing at the graduation. |
| Yes. In my generation way, we bring flowers. I have B/G twins and was going to bring flowers for my daughter but felt I needed to bring something for my son. Still unsure what to do. |
My kid graduated from FCPS in 2021 and there were definitely girls who received flowers after the ceremony. Not a majority, but enough to be noticeable. I gave my kid a hug. I might do flowers for my 2025 grad, but she likes that sort of thing. I brought silk flowers (her favorites are toxic to our cats) to her 6th grade promotion and she still has them. |
