This is not restoring fairness to the Virginia citizens who live outside of Northern Virginia. They deserve to be represented by people who understand their areas--not from Northern Virginia politicians.

And yet Spanburger said "it should be a bipartisan priority." Well, MAGA has shown us it's not a priority, so Dems will do the same -- although they, at the least, put it to the voters.

We are stuck with the gerrymandered districts eg split Arlington for 3 election cycles. Then after the 2030 census they can draw new districts but we don't get the current ones back. I think there will be more GOP seats.
