I agree with you. I am responding to the sentiment about mentally ill who aren't criminals but who may act in threatening enough manner to have people believe they are able to seriously hurt them. |
Juvenile trolling. It's the only explanation. |
What part of weapons charges and drug charges do you not get? |
The point is that many of these mentally ill people have committed felony after felony and Descano doesn’t prosecute or allows a plea deal so ridiculous that the felon is back in the street. Add to that that some of these felons are illegal aliens and now spanberger is refusing to cooperate with ICE which means that these rogue prosecutors will let these people back on the street despite the fact that they should not be here to begin with. |

Yet again folks today: Here is another convicted murderer let go after just 4 months in jail:
A robbery suspect in Fairfax County had charges dropped after only serving just 4 (four) months for the ATM robbery and murder of 73 year-old Nelson Alexander in Falls Church, Virginia. Mr. Alexander had been heading to work on the morning of October 20th, 2021 and stopped by an ATM to pick up some cash. He was then approached randomly by the two teen suspects (16 years old at the time) and was shot in the chest. Mr. Alexander died at the hospital three days later. Timothy Bradshaw Robinson was found guilty of robbery in May of 2024 and was sentenced to serve just three and a half years after taking a plea deal. However, Robinson was released in September of 2024, with 16 years and 6 months on his prison term suspended. |
| can a DA or county be sued if they are so negligent in handling cases like this and offender ended up doing something awful? |
Yes and they should sue. |

🚨New: The Subcommittee on Immigration Integrity, Security, and Enforcement of the U.S. Committee on the Judiciary is inviting Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano and Sheriff Stacey Kincaid to testify at a hearing titled “Fairfax County, Virginia: The Dangerous Consequences of Sanctuary Policies” on April 15, 2026. “The hearing will examine how state and local policies that prohibit cooperation with federal immigration authorities hurt public safety. Your testimony will assist the Committee and Subcommittee in developing legislative reforms to address sanctuary jurisdictions.“ The hearing was scheduled after the murder of Stephanie Minter in Fairfax County. Minter's alleged killer is Abdul Jalloh, an illegal immigrant with a lengthy criminal history. Kincaid is refusing to honor ICE's detainer on Jalloh. Meanwhile, Descano's policy takes immigration consequences into account in criminal prosecutions. Descano's office has dropped almost every charge against Jalloh that came across their desk, allowing him to walk free time after time before Minter's murder. The committee members previously sent letters to Descano and Kincaid: https://wjla.com/news/local/house-committee-criticizes-fairfax-county-sheriff-prosecutor-sanctuary-policies-ice-federal-immigration-american-refusal-cooperate-oversight-local-jurisdictions-virginia-policies-police-trump-ms13-crime-illegal |
| This is how Dems lose again , spamberger needs to denounce and fire descano |
I don’t think the governor has the legal authority to remove an elected commonwealth attorney for their position. She could encourage him to resign though. |
