| 700 calories is an eating disorder. Full stop. |
I do not understand the tolerance and promotion of eating disorders on this board. |
| I really hope this is a troll and not a real person. |
for me a meal implies a plan of what you are going to eat, putting things on a plate, sitting at the table. binging is when you go to a kitchen without a clear plan (maybe just first item), they you start sampling all kind of food randomly with no clear end point. almost all eating is done standing. |
It’s all relative. Obesity is not healthy and carries huge health risks. When you compare the risks of rapid weight loss with the risks associated with obesity, weight loss is exponentially healthier. |
Were you on crutches? 6 miles is less than an hour of jogging at an easy pace. Walking 6 miles shouldn’t take more than 2 hours, maybe 2.5 hours if you’re walking really slow. |

Thank you, OP, for this. I just tried ChatGPT for calories. I never thought to do so before. I used one of those cumbersome apps.
During the summer of 202, during covid, I walked a ton, it was great, around 18K steps per day, I could eat whatever and gain nothing. Now I live in a super-hot climate, I am prone to skin cancer, have had a few spots already removed, and can't walk outside. I do exercise, but there is no way I can fit 30k steps in my day, otherwise that would be the best exercise ever. |
I disagree with this...it's disordered eating IMO. |
OP here - I walked a ton around the home while listening to music and talking on the phone (business and personal). I WFH so that makes it easier. My walking actually began because I had insomnia and was listening to music for hours during night while walking around the home. It didn’t even occurto me to look at the steps for like two weeks or so, then I looked at it and realized I was logging around 15k every night so then I started paying attention to it and building it up… i was almost two months into it when 30k steps crystallized as a goal in my mind though I already had many 30k+ days by then. |

I don’t believe OP walked 30k per day.
Anybody can say anything on here without vetting |
TROLL STOP LYING |
Literally this! |
I would get the shakes if I did that. But I've lost quite a bit with keto friendly dieting (non processed meats and lots of vegetables only). |
is it possible to upload photos? I would love do show you a few screenshots. today I walked 26k and barely noticed. I also walked 20 minutes on 18% incline and had an hour of strength training with my trainer. I understand your disbelief, sometimes I can't believe this happened to me, either, but yeah, I was over 200 lbs less than 8 months ago. |

Anything is possible when you lie. To get 30k steps you would literally be walking the entire day-like without stopping. I have gotten to around 20k before but that was Disney or days when I had been walking around for whatever reason for 4+ hours. Who has 6+ hours in a day to walk on a regular basis?
