Dear middle-aged women: capri pants do nothing for you.

38 weeks here and wearing Capri yoga pants because it is the only thing that I can wear.

OK, i'll put my capris in a donation bin.

How about cropped wide legged pants for tall slim women?

Why?
Besides, this is a fashion forum.

People should wear what they like and are comfortable wearing.

Everybody is already doing that.

Ahhh. Nothing says spring like the revival of this perennial thread. Maybe we’ll get some warm weather so I can break out my frumpy capris.

You’re in the fashion forum, genius. If you don’t want to talk about other people’s clothes go back to Food.

My calves are my best feature, and I have slim ankles. Capris look great on me. I'm not searching 32 pages, but has Audrey Hepburn come up? Did she look frumpy in capris, too?

np This topic comes up in recent thread too. I never read the individual threads. So, now who is the genius? hint hint...not you!

First, it is too early to bump this thread! A few more weeks people.

Second, yes, Audrey Hepburn has come up. Audrey wore ankle pants, not capris. Big difference.

This is what I'm picutring when people say "capri pants". Ankle pants, good. Cropped pants, good. Capri pants? Unflattering. Sure, wear them if you want, but the point is they don't look good. And if you don't care about that, more power to you.

Now it does, but the PP at the top was bumping a year-old thread, that took some digging.

I love capris weather!! And you can bet that I will be rocking my capris the same as always!

The second woman looks eerily like me, but I don't think I've ever stood in a room with blue trim around the doors. She must be my long lost twin sister (and yes, I have dressed like that for hiking or taking a child to the zoo or activities like that, I'm ashamed to admit)

I've been wearing woman #2's outfit for years and years. Throw on a backpack and I'm ready to go.
