Does OUR country include women, latinos and African-Americans in your mind? Because if you are voting for Trump, them the answer is a resounding "no." |
So you are ok with the KKK endorsement? You candidate is. Accepting that is accepting the endorsement. So yes, there is no way someone can support Trump and not be a racist. |
I would not buy the house. The two characteristics that have repeatedly been found in Trump supporters are racial bias and authoritarian personality characteristics. Who wants this as a neighbor?
Let's be honest here, these are not typical Republicans. The type of Republicans, which are most, that an earlier poster referenced (those that are open-minded as are most liberals) are voting for Trump as a vote against HRC or for their party. Those with Trump signs are voting for Trump. I would absolutely buy a house next to a neighbor with a Kasich or Bush sign - probably even Rubio |
Well she calls Trump supporters "a basket full of deplorables". Trump directly criticizes Hillary. But Hillary chooses to insult anyone who is not supporting HER. She is about as divisive a candidate as we have ever seen. And all you have to do is take one look at this thread to see her "word" spreading. Anyone supporting Trump is called a racist, a bigot. Nasty stuff. |
Trump hasn't dignified those groups' "endorsements" with a response. Why would he? |
Um........It's impossible to see it any other way anymore. I'm so sad about what has happened in the Rep. party. I'd pass up a house with a Trump sign b/c I wouldn't want to live next to anyone who could openly support that type of hate. You can't ask them to take down the sign, but I'd seriously consider delaying the listing for a few weeks. |
Exactly. I have kids and I would be concerned for their safety living next to someone like that. |
I would be extremely hesitant to buy a house with a Trump sign. The sign doesn't indicate "Republican," it indicates someone who feels that a racist, sexist lunatic should be running this country. PLUS the fact that they are "in your face" and likely aggressive about it. Anyone vocally supporting Trump at this point isn't anyone I'd want to live next to. It's right up there with the Confederate flag for me. |
+1 |
I actually feel far less hate coming from the Trump camp than I do from the Hillary camp. And I totally mean that. |
Then you haven't been paying attention. |
Reread this thread. |
I would be really concerned. We are a white Muslim family. Did you read that article by the realtor in Frederick a month or so ago? A Muslim family was trying to buy a house in a neighborhood up there, and the neighbors were really nasty to the family as they toured things like the community room, pool, and gym. |
In this thread, HRC supporters are saying they don't want to live next to a Trump supporter. So lets say that HRC supporters are indicating their hate Trump supporters. Fair enough. Trump supporters, by way of their vocal support of the man, are indicating they hate Mexicans, Blacks, Gays, and Latinos. And I totally mean that. |
And you immediately assume that the harassers were Trump supporters? What if you found out that they were HRC supporters or people who don't even vote. This idea that by supporting HRC PROVES that you are not a racist is baloney. |
