Information and a link to register (suggested donation of $18/person) is below. Hope you can join us! Join the CESJDS PTO on February 11 for an Engaging Discussion and Book Signing Yale Law School Professor Amy Chua, who achieved notoriety as the "Tiger Mom" after the release of her book, Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother, will join us on Wednesday evening, February 11, to discuss her newest New York Times bestseller, The Triple Package: How Three Unlikely Traits Explain the Rise and Fall of Cultural Groups in America. The book was written with her husband, Jed Rubenfeld, who will also be in attendance. Chua will reflect on the book's thesis that the combination of a superiority complex, insecurity, and impulse control fuel the disproportionate success of certain cultural and religious groups. Hear her thoughts on how Jews fit in to this "triple package" and how the cultural values responsible for success can endure through future generations – or be lost. Following a Q&A session, join Professor Chua for a book signing and reception. The event starts at 7:00 PM at the Annette M. and Theodore N. Lerner Family Upper School Campus. We are requesting an $18 donation per attendee. RSVP today at http://www.cesjds.org/page.cfm?p=11125
