Join Akbar Ahmed, a foreign affairs reporter for the Huffington Post, and staff of the Freer|Sackler for a writing workshop with other tweens. Inspired by artist Ahmed Mater’s work in Symbolic Cities, explore urban development through the lens of other cultures and use memoir and journalistic techniques to compose short pieces. This program is designed for ages 9–13. Required registration opens April 15.
