Celebrate the Smithsonian’s National Postal Museum’s newest exhibition "Trailblazing: 100 Years of our National Parks" on Saturday, June 11th from 10 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Visitors will learn about the long history between the National Park Service and USPS by engaging in fun activities for the whole family. Activities include a Mule Train Mail obstacle course inspired by the Supai Village mail route at the foot of the Grand Canyon, Make Your Own Stamp Album inspired by photographer and philatelist Ansel Adams, an interactive “I Spy” scavenger hunt, Story Time around a “camp fire”, National Parks themed Team Trivia (at 2:00 p.m. in the Byrne Education Loft), and a ribbon cutting for the new exhibition (at 4:00 p.m. in the Historic Lobby). Each family will receive an activity booklet to guide them through the stations to achieve Junior Ranger status!
