TimberNook is an innovative nature-based developmental program designed to foster creativity, imagination, and independent play in the great outdoors. TimberNook was founded by Angela Hanscom, pediatric occupational therapist – in an effort to bring creative and developmentally appropriate nature programming to children all over the world. 

Our belief is that if a child is given the chance to explore and create in an unhurried and nurturing environment, they will learn to think creatively and openly. TimberNook does this by intricately weaving the therapeutic aspects of nature with its unique understanding of child development to create the ultimate camp experience.

TimberNook of Central Maryland is bringing this internationally recognized program to families in our region. We will be hosting this free event to kick off our inaugural season!
