How does that work for your family? Are you WFH and having to home school? Older kids who are more independent? Seems like it could be a blessing or a crisis, depending on your work/family situation.

Both me and my husband are working from home now so taking turns homeschooling/watching kids and working. It’s not easy. But I don’t miss having an extra person in the house.

I’m so thankful our au pair is sticking it out. She is doing an amazing job and going above and beyond in this situation. She is only 6 months in and wants to extend, so I think she is just looking more towards the future. She also said going back to Brazil right now would be worse because she can’t get a job etc given the circumstances.
