It's not a share when one of the kids is your own. You are simply bringing your kid to work.

Pregnant or on leave nannies (I.e. Reliable, 5 day a week childcare provider) have to take time off between jobs to be very pregnant or stay with their infant.
We all know a physical job like nannying isn't the same when you're in your last month, and not every family wants a nanny with an infant in tow.
Just take a break. Go get an entry level secretary job if you have to work. But you won't be your usual nanny self. Return to the role later once you hVe your kids care sorted out (grandma?).

OP, I am so sorry your boss fired you for this. Esp. after saying she was excited for you! What an awful and mean-spirited thing for her to do to you and I truly hope karma bites her in the butt for this.

Thanks for the advice for other nannies.

She has legal recourse and can get her former MB in a l o t of trouble for paying her illegally. I hope they work for the Fed. Govt. Apply for unemployment, OP.

All pregnant women should be fired.

Equal rights apply to rich women only.

Bingo.

I wonder how these MB's would feel if their bosses fired them for being pregnant?

Why are equal rights only for office workers, but not domestic workers?

It's a class divide, admit it already.

Because pregnant women can work at the computer while pregnant but they can't do a good nanny.

So you're a bad mommy if you take care of your first child while you're pregnant with your second???

Seriously are you comparing yourself to a sahm? Its her family and kid and can raise however she sees fit. This is different from a job where you are paid and can no longer perform the duties.

Which duties are you talking about? Doing somersaults on the backyard trampoline?

Silence, of course.

Odd how women trample on the backs of other women to get to the top.

The top of what? Employing a nanny? Hardly anything to aspire too.
