Why do MBS stop appreciating their nanny? RSS feed

Thank you for the employment?! Your thinking is way off PP

Why should your nanny thank you? You say other nannys are queuing up for for your job but they may all be awful. Good nannies are hard to find and MBS should do all they can to keep them. Honestly, why on earth would they thank you?

She loathes you.

I think as an employer both of nannies and other employees, people get very excited when they are hired but from that moment they forget how many people are waiting in line for the jobs and falsely consider themselves irreplaceable.

Do you think your employer for your job? Everyone is expendable.

No one ever says "thank you for the job" anymore than the employer says "thank you for taking this job" after the offer is accepted. It simply doesn't happen. For most of us good nannies in this profession, our employers forget how many families are waiting in line for a great nanny.

Employers thank employees for a job well done. An employee can thank an employer for a bonus or gift or give a well-deserved compliment, it is not the employees place in any workforce/profession to thank the employer for being a good boss. Maybe it should be but it is not.

However, I do think that appreciation for good job should remain in the employees mind and he/she should act accordingly. Don't let things slip and don't stop trying to impress.

Wow. Really? People are waiting in lines for nanny jobs? A loving caring nanny is invaluable and should be treated as if they are irreplaceable.

Exactly PP. Problem is, many MBS forget that.

What does PP, OP , and MBS stand for? Any other nanny acronyms?

PP is Previous Poster. OP is Original Poster. I think MBS is Mom Bosses. DB is Dad Boss. NF is Nanny Family (the family a nanny works for)

Personally I loathe MB, DB and NF and never use them. PP and OP are helpful.
