Back to the OPs post- the concerning thing is that parents disclosed cameras AFTER offer of employment. While technically ok- why not mention during phone or in person interview? This would have allowed a nanny to ask questions about how the footage will be used & stored.
If this is so common place in 2018- make it part of the discussion, early on.
