It's fine, my family has one in family room and one in each kid room. Not in basement or another couch room I rest in. It is fine. Plus door is code entry so know if I am late, can look it up. |
BTW, no one has time to watch even more than 10 minutes of feed. More like a minute here or there or check that they made it to class on time, or napped well. BFD. |
Once my kids were 4 and 5 they told me all about nanny and her phone, games, music. |
Our cameras went it for checking in on: Kids and schedule, napping; Construction workers doing work in/on the house, Cleaners weekly Babysitters and nanny Security when traveling |

Again (I am sure I probably responded to this thread months ago) I am a nanny who is happy with cameras in the house and yard. I work really hard with my charge and want the parents to see me work. I encourage new parents to get cameras as all the nannies I know work fricking hard all the time and their employers should see it. |

You'd be surprised. |

I agree. How about being put on YouTube? How about hackers? Some parents are so insecure, they fail to see the full picture. I have yet to hear of a properly vetted professional nanny harm a child. |
I’m an mb , our cameras are not only for the nanny. Like a PP said we have people in and out of our house all the time, contractors , cleaning company that doesn’t send the same people every time, random service people etc. it’s basic security in 2018 imo. All the people complaining need to adjust to reality. |
Most professional employers have cameras No one is putting you on youtube You are so insecure or have something to hide if you don't want them. Yes, professional nannies harm kids. So do parents. So do teachers. So do coaches. So do many others. |
Team,
We watch our nanny like a hawk. Not that we don't trust her, but we want to make sure she is providing enough stimulation and is 'working'. Lazy Nannies need not apply. |
I don't work with families who have cameras or work from home. I would not want to come to work and would not feel comfortable. And I would not be happy. |
Once where I used to work (in a different field), a documentary was being filmed. It was impossible for me to "just act naturally" knowing that I was being filmed. Being filmed made me feel extremely nervous and uncharacteristicly jittery. It just wasn't for me. |
