Abstract: OP comes out fighting against scraggly haired ragamuffins and their Chico clothes-wearing bi-level haircut moms. Probably trolling, but inspirational nonetheless, with useful commentary on toddler pageants and monogrammed rompers. As in many other funny threads, Chico’s makes a cameo in its recurring role as clothing store for the 40-something mom whose lost all motivation for looking feminine.

Abstract: Pregnant woman is constipated and naturally looks to DCUM for some help. What starts as a simple quest for advice about laxatives and fiber turns into a farce when OP begins to give graphic hourly updates. High point of thread occurs when OP suggests she’ll have to take a suppository at the office, which launches a tangential discussion of clogged toilets.

(14) I smell like placenta

Abstract: Pregnant woman convinced she smells like amniotic fluid. Half the thread is peppered with arguments about (1) whether placenta even has a smell, and (2) if so, what that smell is, but thread highlight comes when one poster reveals she has a placenta stuffed in her freezer.

OP, THANK YOU! People bring up these threads all the time but without the links, it's just part of the folklore (and I don't read all the boards, just a few, so sometimes only read references and the way the search function works it can be hard with all the references to corn, for example, to find the original post). This is awesome as a summary (you ARE really good at them) AND providing the original link. Perfection!

My nanny says my child learned a bad word from the big kids at the Building Museum is one of my all time favorites.

OP - if you're taking suggestions, bouquet bride and the ask v. axe as said by a teacher were great.
