You're absolutely right!
He could be putting heroin in it, too

OP, if it bothers you, tell him. Don't try to pathologize his behavior though- he doesn't sound like he is abusing alcohol. But it would be fine to insist on a blood panel to see if he has liver damage (very unlikely given that he is fit- overweight people are more likely to have liver damage) if it makes you feel better.

More generally, tell him you have a problem with it and why- describe the effect it is having on you.

I have never heard of anyone doing this ever.

You need to get out more. Sometimes people do this openly- it's called a Boilermaker.

Wow nice conflation. Being overweight can cause fatty liver but alcohol abuse alone can do it and it doesnt matter I'd they are thin/fit or not. Let's not get people thinking 'oh as long as I stay slim I can drink as much as I want.' Severe alcoholism can even make you thinner b.c you stop eating.

Yeah. I’m not saying that people don’t mix liquor and beer or that people don’t hide alcohol use from other people at home. I have just never heard of anyone secretly injecting miniatures of vodka into a beer. People hiding a bottle of vodka in a toilet tank and taking a shot every time they go to the bathroom...yes. Secretly pouring it into their expensive IPA...no.

Then you are a fool. Many of the most crafty alcoholics find ways to increase the juiciness of the alcohol in their life by injecting it (the booze) into other types of alcohol, sometimes using an injectable hypodermic needle or a small eyedropper. That is what OP's hubby-man is doing and he's sneaky too. He wants to put that hooch into his "harmless" beer and that start flying high. What say you?

12 pack a week??? Count your blessings. I started with a fifth of vodka BEFORE I went out Friday and Saturday nights. That was just to prime the pump...

Sober for nine years now because the hangovers were killing me.

These are the facts. If he keeps it to no more than 14 drinks (total) within 24 hours and never has more than 4 drinks in any single hour, there is no problem.

As long as he stays under the "100 line" (for example, 14 drinks a day for each of 7 days would be 98 drinks and "under" the 100 line) he is good to go. More than that is OK, on special occasions, but probably not a good idea too often.

100 line?

Is this your scientific assessment?

Yes, no more than 100 drinks per week (not day.)

I say that it sounds like a sneaky addict lied to you about what they were using those needles for.

Are you for real? I can't drink 13glasses of water per day much less 13 beers! Or do you have a different definition of a drink?? If you drink that much booze please go to the hospital ASAP.
