Panera Bread is gross

I loved the autumn squash soup with roasted pumpkin seeds. I hated to see it go off the Panera menu when fall turned to winter!

DH loved that salad too! Sad to see it gone.

You can find a 15oz jar of squash soup in the grocery store for $1.

AGREE. Panera is disgusting. It's just frozen, reheated food. barf.

And I HATE that you have to bus your own table after a $15 meal.

I wish more people felt like you do, so they would stop going to Panera and taking up the tables. It would make getting a table easier for those us who like to go there.

I don't mind the taste of it. Im not foodie and can eat wherever when needed. Im just appalled at the cost. I have 3 boys ages 4-12 and it cost me 48.58 to feed the 4 of us the other night and 2/4 family members weren't full. We can get by on sharing 2 burrito bowls at chipotle and ordering extra chips for a total of 22 bucks.

Yeah it tastes like it should be dirt cheap but it's expensive as hell for what you get!

I think the quality must really vary. For awhile, the Panera near me was great. Thier food was fresh and it tasted good. Then one week, my meal was horrible. I tried again, and it was mediocre at best. As I waited for food, I saw a steady stream of people complaining that thier order was wrong.

It was new at first. I wonder if they really focus on service and freshness until they get a customer base.

It. They're gross, unhealthy and not even affordable. I'd rather have a protein bar or a pb & j from home.

Agree! Although their Mac n cheese is awesome, but of course that's for D.C., not me.

Even their chocolate chip cookies are gross. How can a place supposedly known for baked goods have awful choc chip cookies? Trash food for basic middle class schmucks.

Why do you go there?
