Anyone cycling right now? IVF

I start injections today and would like to connect with others who are going through the same process.

I'm about 10 days ahead of you, but happy to provide moral support! A few of us had a group here in December that was pretty awesome.

Fretting myself today because I haven't gotten a call yet (because of snow) about how our embryos did overnight after egg retrieval. No idea how many made it or were fertilized.

Thank you! How many eggs? Hoping for good news!!!
I have been looking forward to starting injections but I'm so nervous now. This isn't my first IVF cycle. I thought it would get easier but it hasn't. What was your protocol?

I just had my IVF baseline appointment today. I start stims on Sunday. This is my first IVF cycle after 5 failed IUIs, and I'm definitely nervous about the meds and the retrieval. Trying to stay positive!

This is me. I'm going to call myself Sue, like I did the last go-round. We had a really supportive group in December, if anyone wants to join in again this month!

Finally got an update from the RE. 7 embryos fertilized with ICSI this afternoon. I'm old, so this is actually good.

From my experience last go-round, the next several days are the hardest. 1) I still feel crappy and bloated, and 2) it's totally out of my control and all I can do is wait for daily updates.

Good luck to those of you starting injections! Let's keep updating!

In the birth control stage of my first IVF cycle. Found out today I have a polyp that needs to be removed.

OP here- just did my first injection. I combined Bravelle and Menopur in 1 ml--- I know I did it right but I am freaking out because I didn't feel anything. Weird. Last couple IVFs it burned. Nothing this time.

Sue~ that sounds great! 7 fertilized is amazing. In the past, I only had 3 eggs retrieved and 2 fertilized. I'm hoping for better numbers this time around. My AMH went up and FSH went down so fingers crossed that this is it. Good luck and keep us posted. Btw, I'll call myself Annie.

Are they pushing your cycle? I know when that happened to me, I was able to schedule the removal right away and did IUI two weeks after so I didn't have to wait. It sucks, I jnow! But hang in there...

What meds are you doing? I didn't have any side effects with the meds I have used so far. Stay positive! Easier said than done but try... I was too nervous about the retrieval my first time around but trust me when I say you will kind of forget about that when you start going daily because you just keep hoping the follicles grow and your e2 levels keep raising. After the trigger shot, my clinic does one last blood test to make sure e2 increased. You go through so many emotions that when the ER comes, you forget about it and start worrying about how many eggs fertilized and so on.

I am on the Antagonist Vivelle protocol this time around which I've never done. I start the patches tomorrow. I start stimming next week. If anyone has experience with this protocol, I'd love to hear from you. Good luck to everyone!

17:59here. I am on a high responder antagonist protocol - Gonal F and Menopur with a Lupron trigger. Trying to eliminate the possibility of OHSS. I've shown high response during previous IUI cycles.

I'm DOR and on 150 bravelle and 150 Menopur, triggering with ovidrel. Other meds progesterone, aspirin, antibiotics and estrace.

Fortunately I can get the hysteroscopy done while I'm on the birth control and that won't delay my cycle!

I'm curious about the antibiotics. What are they for?

After two failed IVF rounds I just started my third round on Thursday. Using lupron this time and decided to do pgs testing this round after my last round resulted in an early miscarriage. I'm more nervous about getting enough embryos to test but I'm trying to stay calm and let it happen. I did the patch and then antagonist last round and had to stem for 17 days. That was miserable but I got 7 fertilized embryos and 4 blastocysts out of the round so it was worth it! ~Kelly
