| I'm so sorry. I went through this same thing in dec. my betas weren't doubling but rising, couldn't find a sac, thought it was ectopic but it wasn't....it was so hard and emotionally draining not knowing. I ended up doing a d&c though I could have probably waited it out naturally. I was preparing for a FET but my dr called it off today bec. My lining didn't look good. That's two bad cycles In a row for me, but we don't want to waste my last two precious embryos so I'm going to have to wait for my new insurance to kick in and get pre-approved again before I can try another FET. Hopefully it will be worth the wait! Kelly |

So sorry, Emma. A big hug to you.
I'm just now starting to feel myself again. I'll be doing another round of IVF after everything clears out and one I get my period again. I'm actually pretty hopeful. My doctor was optimistic. He said it was an excellent sign that I got pregnant, and that it bodes well for success in a subsequent round. M acupuncturist says the same thing -- our bodies have memories, and mine will remember being pregnant and easily pick up those patterns again. And honestly, even though I continue to bleed from the miscarriage (had no idea it went on for this long! Apparently up to two weeks. Buying stock in kotex.) I am so relieved to just be feeling back to normal me again. No bloating, no irritating progesterone, no hormones messing with my senses. Maybe it's just the sunshine, but it feels good to be normal again.
And Kay, keep us updated! I'm so happy for you. It's so so so sweet to hear success stories. Best of luck to all! --Sue |
| Sue you rock!! I am hopeful for you. Enjoy the rest right now and drink lots of delicious wine. |
| Sue good for you! It is amazing how feeling normal again can be such a godsend in this whole process. Best wishes for you! |
Kelly, I'm sorry to hear that. I know how anxious we get before starting a cycle only be told to wait. I hope your lining improves. Did your doctor tell you you do anything or take anything to help thicken it? But you are right not to want to waste your embies at this time. Here's hoping your new insurance kicks in soon and that your lining has a chance to improve. Good luck! Sue, it is so good to see you are feeling better physically but more importantly, emotionally. And I'm happy to see you've made your decision to try again. You have such positive energy that is refreshing to see so thank you Good luck to you! I look forward to hearing updates!
Kay, how are you feeling? Everything going well, I hope? Thinking about you! As for me, I am still waiting for my beta to drop and get my period. It went down to 223 earlier this week. I am still crazy bloated, have horrible headaches and have my emotional ups and downs. I'm hoping I will feel better by next week. Have a wonderful weekend everyone! |

Sue, your optimism and hope really want me. I'm thinking about you and can't wait for you to get your BFP.
Kelly, have they pulled the plug completely or are they going to complete more monitoring? Hang in there Emma. Headaches are so debilitating and on top of everything you are going through. Let us know how you are doing next week. As for me. I have an ultrasound on Wednesday and I'm as nervous as I have been since this journey started. I will be released if it's good, but I can't mentally go there right now. The nerves don't go away even though the BFP is here. I am happy but so cautious and hesitant. I'm not sure if that makes sense. I'm trying to breathe. Have a great weekend. -Kay |
