Humanize Palestine

Hamas is the embodiment of hate and intolerance.

Hamas is a designated terrorist organization. Their leaders should be treated like we treat al Caida terrorists: drone strikes.

This was from 2013

So? It's still relevant

Do you really not understand how disingenuous it is to post this as if this person is commenting on what is going on today, when she is not?

No, it is not. This article resurfaced at the beginning of this conflict. I clearly posted the link and source of the article. We have been discussing things that have been happening for the past 60+years in case you didn't know. This is not a conflict that started yesterday but over 60 years ago. So yea, an article from 2013 is clearly relevant

Being misleading in this way only damages the little credibility you have left.

Muslima has a lot more credibility than an insecure poster who tries to turn every thread or post that touches upon the Israeli killing machine into a referendum on Hamas. Tell your Jewish friends in Jerusalem to lighten up on the child-killing, please.

Burn in hell, Hamas hate mongers and the Gazans that elected them. Fight on IDF. Stop the blood-thirsty monsters intent on slaughtering every innocent Jew within reach of their Iranian bombs and rat tunnels.

You know PP - you do nothing for your cause by posting on every single Palestine thread with a reference to the people of those countries as rats and roaches worthy of extermination. I'm not sure what your point is other than to dehumanize yourself.

No, you just need to vet photos before you distribute them with your (false) commentary.
You are passing off the photo of a Kurdish girl from 2009 as a current photo of a child in Palestine.

Stuff like that just hurts real efforts to humanize the Palestinians. Something that is really important.
So please look at your sources.

You are forgiven. That does not explain or excuse dishonesty or intentionally misleading posts.

The point here is not "win any way you can - even through lies." The point is to honor the truth. Argue honestly if you seek credibility here.

There is no dishonesty or intentionally misleading people in any of my posts. I told the pp who pointed that that picture was from Turkey that I didn't know as its been forwarded to me. If this is the only thing you can rehash over and after a dozen pages, be my guest. This is my last post on the issue, children are dying as we speak, I choose to focus my energy on other things.

The only power plant supplying electricity to the Gaza Strip was knocked out of commission by Israeli shelling, deputy director of the energy authority in the Palestinian territory said Tuesday. Israel is systematically and clinically destroying Gaza's civilian infrastructure. The shelling of the only power plant in Gaza and subsequent fires have rendered it useless.

By tonight the majority of the people of Gaza will be without electricity..slowly their means of communication with the outside world are being shut down.

“Gaza's sole power plant has stopped working due to Israeli shelling last night, which damaged the steam generator and later hit the fuel tanks which set them on fire,” Fathi al-Sheikh Khalil told AFP

What's it like being Muslim? Well, it's hard to find a decent halal pizza place and occasionally there is a hashtag calling for your genocide...

Muslima, how would you recommend Israel eliminate Hamas (or at least eliminate their ability to attack Israeli civilians) without any adverse effect on Gaza's civilian population?

Why do you think Hamas needs to be eliminated?

Because they are a terrorist organization with the primary goal of eradicating Israel and establishing an Islamist regime in the region.

That's not true.

Do you think it's okay that Jew-killing is an explicit part of Hamas's charter?

I'm a new poster here and am deeply conflicted. I am a Jew. I am absolutely NOT OKAY with killing civilians and children. Duh. But I also think that Palestinians are suffering for having elected a party that has as part of its platform killing another ethnicity. Can we stop ignoring that? Can we stop pretending that Hamas wouldn't bomb the hell out of Israel if they could?

If Hamas explicitly disavowed violence towards Jews -- or heck, even just eliminated it from its charter -- I'd feel a lot more convinced that Israel had another option.
