If you were to find yourself single...

And let me add, I would chase the tail of 12:38. Me thinks she is a blast as both a date and very good in the sack.

To the PP above: I've never lived alone and I truly regret that. There is so much compromising living with another person that somewhere somehow what I wanted from life got sidetracked. I so crave freedom now that I would never go back and get married again. Nope. Never ever.

I guess I am the cheesiest person here, because I would love to fall in love again. The excitement, the possibilities. It doesn't last long but it's a nice high. I would also like flirting and dating too, and also not being tied down. I don't even care about sex that much.

I'm a married man and a dad. If, poof, I was single with no kids I would be a lazy fat slouch for about six months before starting to look for a new wife. More realistically, the likely way I would become single is to get divorced in which case I would be broke and sad and a lazy fat slouch. Expect it to be a total buzz kill in all circumstances.

LMFAO - What from my post would give you that impression? Please let me know in case I find myself single in the near future so I can spread that vibe around men in the DC area.

Why should I confess? Perhaps my spidey senses? I sense intelligence, attitude, and sexiness. So sue me!

If being single was so awesome, a lot of you probably wouldn't have gotten married in the first place.

Why be a lazy fat slouch? Why look for another wife (particularly in the no kids scenario)? Why not join a gym, get exercise, meet nice, attractive women and date for a while? To me that would be lots more fun. In the divorce scenario, it would also provide payback for your wife for dumping you. Vengeance is so sweet.

I plead absolutely stupidity and brainwashed by Disney to believe in the fairy tale ending. Reality of marriage sucks.

I would look to get married again. After watching my father lonely after losing my my mom, it broke my heart. I don't want to be old and alone. I also don't want to be old and miserable, so I'd chose wisely. I have been married for 14 years and am happy and content. Not over the moon, but happy with my relationship. DH and I both often comment to each other how much we would hate to be single again.

I think my dad enjoyed being a widower. Found some stuff I wished I never knew of when I cleaned out his house after he died. It also became obvious at his memorial service that he was seeing several different women at the same time. Who knew my dad was a player?
