First time hearing of that specific oil.

My son is mixed. He's only 3 but I exclusively use coconut cooking oil on his skin and hair. He has kinky hair and it works on frizz and defines his curls pretty well. I've tried it on my curly white girl hair but it's just too fine and weighs my hair down. I warm it and pour it in to a container with a larger opening than the jar, then use as necessary. On the up side, inexpensive and it smells great. The scent isn't overwhelmingly coconut either. On the down side, when he lays his head on my shoulder while reading the bedtime story, it leaves a grease stain on my shirt. Also, chasing a recently greased up 3yo is interesting. He's pretty slippery.

Yeah white peoples hair is of different texture from ours.stuff that may work for our hair I highly doubt works for yall.no offense

A female I dealt with years ago made the comment after finding out im heavy into fashion as far as shoes go that she didn't like men who had alotta footwear(sneakers, dress shoes,boots)..now that was the first & only time I heard a female say that but just came across my mind to ask women on here what they opinion was.if you're guy has alotta shoes do you not care or look to deep into it & feel only women should have alotta shoes?
Do you have a job or a life?
Your posting spree is so weird. I wouldn't date a feminine guy like you.
(Yawns) ..I'm sure my lady will appreciate that.(not to mention I wouldn't wanna date a lame who judges people from internet post)now get lost
Never been in a situation where the shooting was inside classrooms or hallways...gang shooting happened in front of school during dismissal .everybody scattered until cops came & had the dudes from both crews lined up
I'm telling you.I'm new here & can already feel the ignorance from a lot of these "non African american" posters( it might just be the same 1 or 2 lames making these type of comments)
Anonymous wrote:OP just asked the same type of question a couple of days ago. Trolling is really lame. So your great thesis is that poor black people beat the shit out of their kids and rich while people get the shit beat out of them by their kids? Thanks now go sit down and think of something else idiotic to add to the DCUM today. What is it with the f'n race trolls?

It was lame when the person took a shot at blacks then tried to play it off like it was a legitimate question.yeah right

Its also lame how some of these "good-ole boys" & good-ole girls" make wise cracks 1-behind a computer screen & 2-anonymity behind a screen(very cowardly) ...make derogatory comments towards blacks in other topics yet everything is cool when they do it but when a black speaks on them then sound off the alarms its "trolling"...no diss to every white on here but I notice its definitely a high % of negative ones on here then positive
Anonymous wrote:OP what is your background? (other than being black obviously). Did you graduate high school? Go to college? What do you do for work?

Like this ...pure ignorance
Jesus Christ(slaps forehead) @ "I'm weird " for making different topics in a otherwise "laid back" forum. Shame on me for trying to bring life to it..I guess my world of asking "regular questions" that we ask in my communities are weird in the white communities I see(respect to some of the cool whites who are not ignorant on here & simply answered )
Anonymous wrote:Coconut oil is nice for body & hair. I wouldn't use for face. Plain whole fat yogurt is a nice moisturizing way to wash your face.

I tried the coconut oil on my face(before I went the olive oil on my face route) .. It dried all moisture out my face ...Its good for hair & body though like you mentioned

Lol
Anonymous wrote:My boyfriend doesn't really have a lot of shoes. A pair of sneakers, a pair of work boots, a pair of flip flops/sandals for summer, and a pair of dress shoes (actually two, I think, black and brown). But, one of his brothers always has to have the newest "Jordans" or whatever and I think that's a little ridiculous.

Why do you feel his interest of having the latest Jordan's are ridiculous?..we all have hobbies that the next person might not dig.but sneaker collecting is a serious addiction that only those that fit that criteria can relate to
