A female I dealt with years ago made the comment after finding out im heavy into fashion as far as shoes go that she didn't like men who had alotta footwear(sneakers, dress shoes,boots)..now that was the first & only time I heard a female say that but just came across my mind to ask women on here what they opinion was.if you're guy has alotta shoes do you not care or look to deep into it & feel only women should have alotta shoes?

My boyfriend doesn't really have a lot of shoes. A pair of sneakers, a pair of work boots, a pair of flip flops/sandals for summer, and a pair of dress shoes (actually two, I think, black and brown). But, one of his brothers always has to have the newest "Jordans" or whatever and I think that's a little ridiculous.

My boyfriend has probably 17-20 pairs of shes and while it doesn't bother me I do think its a bit ridiculous since he only wears about 1/3 of them.

Why do you feel his interest of having the latest Jordan's are ridiculous?..we all have hobbies that the next person might not dig.but sneaker collecting is a serious addiction that only those that fit that criteria can relate to

Yes. Lots of weird posts

I wouldn't like it if my man has too many shoes. I like a well dressed man, but too many shoes would make me think he's effiminate or narcisitic. My DH has maybe 6 shoes total? Including tux/suit/running shoes/Sperrys.

I would love it if my husband owned lots of shoes because then I could indulge my own shoe lust with no guilt.

OP what is your background? (other than being black obviously). Did you graduate high school? Go to college? What do you do for work?

I hate buying clothes/shoes that are "the latest thing". I'm much more into classic clothing that is well made and lasts for a long time. DH does buy a new pair of running shoes a year, but he gets the ones for his type of gait. For men, I think buying 100% leather shoes is the way to go and then when they are worn you replace the soles. The latest thing is a gimmick.

Jesus Christ(slaps forehead) @ "I'm weird " for making different topics in a otherwise "laid back" forum. Shame on me for trying to bring life to it..I guess my world of asking "regular questions" that we ask in my communities are weird in the white communities I see(respect to some of the cool whites who are not ignorant on here & simply answered )
