My older son has lied since he was little. He has ADHD and memory issues.
when my son was just on vyvanse, he was unable to control his impulsivity. He was extremely frustrated with himself and would sit on the stairs with his head in his hands moaning about how he just couldn't control himself.
When the doctor put him on INTUNIV, in addition to vyvanse it got a lot better. Now at 12, he is only on Intuniv. You may want to look into it.
As a side note, I started using the word "fib" for harmless tale-telling. It made our discussions about the stories less confrontational.

My 8 year old son may have asperger's syndrome or something a bit short of that. He also has ADHD and some emotional issues (that may be caused by divorce). I need to get him tested thoroughly and well. He presently attends public school in the district and I am looking into applying to Ivy Mount and/or The Auburn School.
Does anyone have recommendations?
I know about Stixrud...I am wondering about others.

Does anyone have a recommendation for an pediatric orthopedist? My 5 year old is "pigeon toed" and recently complains a great deal about pain in his legs and feet when walking. Just yesterday he said he felt "lighting" in his big toe. Something is going on and I need to have it checked out. Thanks!

I am attending a digital photography program here in Georgetown -- Boston University's Center for Digital Arts. It is located in the foundry.
This Sunday March 22nd, from 10-4pm, there will be an event called the ROUND UP, which I wanted everyone to know about.
CDIA is hosting an event where local photographers get together to photograph people for free, learning from each other while giving back to the community.
But, they need TALENT, which could be any of you or your friends or kids!
They are looking for models, actors, dancers, body builders, skateboarders, you name it - if they want to be photographed, just go!
If you want to attend, just let me know at vividjen@mac.com and I will pass the word on.
You will get professional level photos for free and it should be really interesting!! Photographers are welcome to show up as well : )
