Fairfax next, then the winner of WSHS vs Lake Braddock, assuming they win those they will play the rested winner of the Madison vs W&L game. If they win that they have to see a team a team who has had a tougher schedule than any other team Hayfield has seen in the playoffs.
Irrelevant for this thread. Win or lose doesn’t change that they violated rules. Every game is one they shouldn’t be playing.
So is the threat to hate on Hayfield and come up with a bunch of lies and reasons to hate the program. If that’s the case you ought to take your posts over to Fairfax Underground.
This thread started with Hayfield asst coach offering drugs to a student and is now almost entirely discussing rules violations charges. Obviously post whatever want, but if Hayfield beats anyone in future or loses, it has no relevance. If they had lost to Edison, the violations stand to be addressed.
It’s all relevant. It was a hit piece based on some volunteer coach that had a minimal role in Hayfields program got in trouble and that guy was immediately fired.
Langley had a football coach and teacher do far worse this fall and got nowhere near the hate Hayfield is getting. There is an obvious element of racism here.
As soon as someone mentions positivity, the haters come around talking about lies and unproven allegations. Even a judge in the seat of the confederacy said this sounds like some bs, but I’ll give you more of an opportunity to plead you case on December 4th.
As of now, Hayfield is still playing football and some of us that support local sports are still spectating and watching to see if Hayfield, Madison, W&L, or Patriot can bring the 6A trophy back up to NOVA.
Many of these idiots actually wanted Robinson to respresent us in the playoffs instead of Hayfield. Robinson wasn’t coming out of the region. Robinson didn’t help our chances of getting the trophy here to NOVA, but Hayfield does.
Wish these people would channel that racist energy somewhere else and let the kids play football.

The two pertinent issues here are: 1) VHSL found Hayfield cheated by inappropriately recruiting 20+ kids to a public school, by providing different accounts to VHSL inquiries and sanctioned them accordingly and appropriately. But had flaw in their internal process which resulted in delay of punishment. Will be adjudicated on the merits on Dec 4th.
And 2) that FCPS/Reid seem intent on ignoring and obfuscating the above and tripling down and supporting this inappropriate behavior by FCPS employees for reasons unknown. Safe to say more to come on that one.
They did not cheat. They provided proof of residency as required by FCPS. It was investigated and cleared. Period.
I know lots of kids who attend Arlington Schools and FCPS who do not live in those Counties. They are not the first or the last to beat the system!
It’s only fair when the white team wins.
When you have no legs to stand on pivot to racism, anti-Semitism etc.
I agree. They can’t win on the field so they have been pulling the racist tactics.

what a bunch of crybaby bi$&es. So glad my kid didn’t play for any of these schools in this county. No wonder why none of these schools ever win anything. Hayfield coaches are winning football players that teach winning football. Not wanna be teachers that earn extra money teaching kids pop warner offenses or madden plays. None of you schools were even making the semi finals. Nobody fking recruited. Some administrator and parent was butt hurt so made it their mission to lie to get people fired. They were proven wrong. The VHSL broke its own rules because it decided their investigation was better over the firmer Attorney General. FCPS interviewed the parents, kids, coaches, schools, showed up at kids houses at midnight on a Tuesday to do a surprise inspection. All the kids were cleared even by the VHSL. So good old boy coaches were butt hurt cause they getting out coached and complained. The VHSL breaks their own rules and does a sham of a vote to get Hayfield banned. The judge called the lawyers out for not having one single proof of evidence and illegally banned them off of one man’s opinion. His investigation included asking 2 questions. 1. Did you recruit? No. 2. Do you still have contact with your players. Yes I’m in a text group with all my former players. Based off that he determined Overton lied. The judge said that’s a pretty damn big leap since you never interviewed any kids or parents. Then finished with this is a court of law. It requires proof and evidence. You have none. Hayfield wins. So unless VHSL makes up more lies they will get the same result. Incoming freshman are transfers right lol? Hayfield brought an entire starting offense and defense from freedom right? Team is stacked? Only 3 players made all district on offense. 3 on defense. JV team goes undefeated. Freshman team goes undefeated. It’s cause they cheated too right? Not because they are coached well and TAUGHT how to play football. It’s all good. South County, Edison, Mount Vernon can stay warm this week on the couch. Fairfax will join them in 4 days and Lake Braddock in 8. Dumb people. They were already a good football team and now you pissed off the kids and gave them a reason. I would be scared too. Keep reading and believing these ignorant news articles without actually knowing the truth. My bad. You need excuses why your team will be destroyed to feel better so go ahead. Just keep giving them bulletin board material.

Apologies...I am late to the game on this one. Who is this woman and what is her connection to the Freefield mess? Just a quick scan of her Insta makes her appear to be a parent of a kid who broke the rules when he transferred into Freefield and she also appears to be an unhinged wannabe Tony Robbins. Did I get this right or am I missing something?
She doesn't have kids on the team.
She's a groupie.
She posted calling herself one of the team coaches and "chaplain"
She runs a church/grift in Fredericksburg that she is a "pastor" of
She posted a sideline video making fun of Chantilly'a team after the game
Had another post where she said something like she is called to bring Jesus to public school teams
She has deleted some of her crazier posts

No one can find their financials because it was never a legit 501c3. They have never filed a 990, something an actual nonprofit with revenues over $200,000 has to file annually. Those that have revenue below $200K still have to file something that would be public record, be it a 990EZ or a short form return. These don't exist for Overton's 990. They also aren't on ProPublica, Guidestar, Charity Navigator or any other public database of registered nonprofits. To my knowledge, they don't even have an EIN, which is something required for a legit business to have. This was brought up earlier in the week. It is another one of the shams that Overton is running. VA actually pulled all of Overton's business licenses in 2022 or 2023, I cannot remember which, and yet he is still operating PME. It is a shame the Commonwealth hasn't filed charges.
Post on page 21, 10/15 at 17:15 had EIN but to your point, NO site anywhere had financials. Seems ripe for an audit.

Agree! The cheaters who refuse to follow the rules remind me so much of crazy trump
traitors.
Like the Dems in Pennsylvania trying to use illegal ballots to steal the senate election?
You mean like that?

This 100%.
Schools are probably going to be reluctant to touch Overton given what we know has been going on.
No he will get a job in Maryland or at a private school. He may be out for a year but he will get a job. Ignoring all the other garbage, he’s proven to be a successful coach. I mean in Virginia yes he’s probably done but DC MD private schools in need of a coach with a proven track record, yea he’ll get a job.
I don’t know anything other than all this and he won some titles at freedom and he and Jason Eldridge (former WSHS coach) got into when Overton was there and Eldridge was there. But people generally have short term memory when it comes to things so like I said maybe he’s off the sideline for a year maybe two max but he’ll get a job pretty quick after that.
I know people don’t want to hear that but just be honest with yourself and you know it’s true.

While coaches and parents all across the county advocated for forfeiting, the Edison team took the field to contest their playoff berth on the gridiron....and not a courtroom or strong-armed bureaucratic office.
Edison just scored first and walked to the buses leaving as winners
The Edison kids are truly the real winners. It's amazing how this SB and Reid sent them into this knowing it would be a slaughter. If only Edison had hired Overton instead and he had brought them all those players.
Disagree. This is an unfair situation for the adults to put them into. Hopefully no one gets injured.
OK yeah, I forgot about that aspect. A team stacked with big, huge recruited players when most teams only have 1 or 2 big kids. Reid, did you think about this? The optics look bad for Reid no matter what happens here. I think she's not going to last.
The Hayfield players are not big, huge, monsters. In fact, they are quite average. You all have made them into something nefarious, fearful, and detestable.
These so called adults talking about cheating sure have no problem lying. My daughter is an Edison soccer player and she has friends at Hayfield so while we support Edison we don't hate Hayfield. The lies on here are crazy. The football players are not large at all.
My son is a Lake Braddock Football player and has no hate against "new" Hayfield players. To be honest, lots of the kids in the Football team follow the new Hayfield players on social media since the summer.
My son says they are very good. Not huge at all, but very talented and athletic.
People here are really blowing things out of proportion and many don't even have kids in the Football program. LOL.
The unfortunate truth is that most of the hate is based on color.
That is not true...so stop trying to make this a color issue. I'm black and my hate is directed at the disgusting behavior of the adults (FCPS Superintendent, Hayfield Coaches, Hayfield Principal, Hayfield AD, FCPS Lawyer, Fairfax District Court Judge, parents that lied to transfer the kids). It has everything to do with morals. It has to do with what we are supposed to teach our kids (honesty, integrity, follow the rules, be kind to thy neighbor). These people bullied parents and kids, displaced several kids that live in their respective districts, threatened people's jobs if they stand up to the nonsense, and the list goes on. They are cheaters and need to be held accountable. I don't like when people insult my intelligence and Michelle Reid just played in our face. Don't come on here and misrepresent what someone is motivated by. Everyone wants to play the race card when it suits their narrative. Michelle Reid owes an apology to that SoCo coach and if he doesn't get one, I hope he sues her personally for defamation (she can take it out of that $424K salary), because I don't want to use my taxpayer money to fix a wrong that she created. When Hayfield matches up against Private Schools that can legally recruit, they get handled, a.k.a. Riverdale Baptist. If you want to be able to go to the school of your choosing, go to a Private school and pay the money. If you want to legally recruit as a coach, then coach at a Private School. If you want to compete against teams that have equal ability to recruit legally and test your true talent, then go to a Private school. But don't cry poor and act like you are a victim because you're getting called out for breaking the rules. Maybe you'd have some money if you weren't paying Overton for his pay to play league and praising him because he cares about the kids. Here's a little secret...Overton is making money off your kids.

Anonymous wrote:Hayfield is in a bad spot, me personally if I was the HC I have all types of motivational speeches to use. Against any of these 6 coaches teams, you wanted to paint me in the bad guy role, I’d embrace it. I’d def try and put up as many points as possible on any of these 6.
I’d motivate my kids in the fact there are people who have tried to take something away from us(team) that they worked bled and sweat for on the field. That’s the coach and human nature in me.
If they run it up it adds more fuel to the burning fire. Any margin of victory greater than that of what score was in regular season game comes off as the coach is what they said he was.
