These redirects have been showing up about once a week lately, but only seem to affect a small number of users. I have never seen them myself so I don't know what to do about them. Could you possibly make a screen capture of one? If so, send it to admin at dc urban mom dot com
We probably should have a dedicated weight loss forum but I am not sure if or when I would get around to creating one. Because of the need to move messages from one forum to the new forum, it is very labor intensive to create a new forum like this. I don't really have the time to do it.
That IP address is not blocked.
I don't think the cases are comparable but this is a very local case in which friends and family may be reading and speculation seems premature and unnecessary at this time.

Thanks Jeff. What an odd thing to troll about. I can’t think toddler tantrums are all that exciting to discuss unless you actually have a current toddler.
To be honest, the thread may have been started by a legitimate poster. But the troll posted to it several times today and she usually only posts to her own threads so I just assumed that thread was hers.
The poster is a long time troll. I removed 4 or 5 threads from her. I think the thread that you are describing was an older thread that was revived.
I don't know. Maria has been doing most of the moderating on those threads and I don't think she paid attention to the IP addresses.

Two of those on the list are simply women refusing to compete and are not examples of trans girls dominating. The last one took place in 2023.
That's not much of an iceberg. But it is a good example of trolling.
I can't say for sure that all of those threads were created by the same poster, but they do appear to be authored by a long-time troll that I nicked named the "breastfeeding troll" because the original threads were almost always about breastfeeding. The troll now seems to have turned to threads about her "DH" who frequently seems to criticize her spending.
Despite my not being able to prove those posts were from that troll, I felt they were sufficiently likely to remove them all.
