Most of the day today, I've had a DCUM redirected to a "pick a prize for a 5000 billionth search" (looks like Google but it's not). And another one that looks like a Microsoft virus warning. Anything you can do to stop those? |
These redirects have been showing up about once a week lately, but only seem to affect a small number of users. I have never seen them myself so I don't know what to do about them. Could you possibly make a screen capture of one? If so, send it to admin at dc urban mom dot com

I just got one that wanted to send me here: www.v.modanova.shop/dailynews.php
Edge browser |
I’m getting it too. Same as OP described. |
Yes, just got it myself. If it happens again I’ll screenshot it for you. |
Oh, I got that and thought it was my system only. I restarted my computer in the hopes that will make it stop. |
I've gotten it a couple of times today. |
Same . Mine says this: Malicious Site Blocked! Symantec Endpoint Protection blocked this website: https://v.modanova.shop/dailynews.php?key=c30bc6c714242b411c0f |
^^ BTW, I'm on chrome. |
I've gotten them three times in the past 30 mins on different threads. |
I've gotten them three times in the past 30 mins on different threads. (Including when i tried to post this) |
I just got a ton of these, too. Also using chrome. Will screenshot if they come up again. I've never gotten them before. |
I just had that happen too. |
This happened to me a few times today when I tried to use the site so I just stayed away - it was the virus warning with a bunch of windows popping up going haywire on the screen. And yesterday I could not log on to the site at all for most of the afternoon. Logging in from the greater Boston area. |
From Chrome, I keep getting a complaint from my malware checker about the modanova site when I go to dcum because it's an ad that shows up on the dcum page. I can't effectively view dcum from my browser because I get the malware message, and I either have to accept the potential malware site of modanova a safe (is it?) or can't stay on the dcum page because of the repeated malware message that pops up as soon as I go to dcum. |
