Whitman cluster looks unimpacted.
WJ cluster gets screwed.

Fast forward to college. Yesterday he was struggling with writing and I asked if he took his medication. He had not. Well about 30 minutes later he was able to sit down and focus and get it done. Nothing worked except medication for this and medication has been like a miracle intervention.

What kind of meds? stimulant or non-stim?

I just reread your post and wanted to clarify we did the summer program only.

Which summer program did your son do? Age/grade? I saw on their website that some of the teachers at McLean School teach SummerEdge camp - is that the case?
Anyone has experience with (or heard about) writing summer camp at SummerEdge in McLean? Please share. Thanks.
Also, if anyone could share their general experience with McLean School of Potomac for inattentive ADHD / EF deficit kids, many thanks in advance.
2nd grader DS spaces out and often does not complete class assignments, though he is smart and knows how to do them. He is suspected inattentive ADHD by his teacher. His room is really messy, and he is disorganized. We are getting him tested next year. But in the meantime, could anyone recommend any good therapists for inattentive ADHD, executive functioning deficits, and organization skills? We are in Rockville, MD. Thanks all.

SLP = Speech-language pathologist?
DS (2nd-grade) is a fluent reader that loves reading and reads above-level in DIEBELs. However, he struggles with writing, especially getting his thoughts on paper (where to start with his many ideas), and often leaves classroom writing assignments completely blank. I am looking for an OT that specializes in dysgraphia and executive functioning. Does anyone have any good ones to recommend? Thanks.

Anonymous wrote:Well, supposedly it was back last year for 2nd graders and then they didn't actually administer the test, so take it with a grain of salt. And it sounds like it is being used for SIPPI identification, which means nothing, rather than for CES admissions, where its use would be more meaningful.

If it’s being administered to 3rd graders, it could be for CES.

Could anyone please recommend a good CogAT book just for practice? Thanks

Tell me more about the rough water. Will it make kids seasick?
Does anyone have experience with 7-8 days Carribean / Bahamas cruise that leaves from Baltimore port around Christmas time? For family with early ES kid.
Does anyone here know about any good lawyer (that can go to litigation) in Maryland to deal with utility companies?
My lawn got damaged by a utility company, and there was some kind of bad incident (child sexual harassment) from a guy that works for it.
Thanks.
My 6-yr old son has ODD. He acts out daily at home. My DH and I few so miserable having to deal with him. We are looking for an ODD therapist around Rockville/Bethesda/Potomac.
