Try tip #1 -- open up a "Hawaii account" and setup an auto-draft payment into it once a month.

Agree to this. Even better, don't put the draft account in your name, and don't get a bank card for it (ie, if the account is in your husband's name and the only way to withdraw cash is to go in person to the bank, he will need to be there with you to get it).

This really is the best way, if it's a major hassle to get at the money you have think twice before spending it. Plus if you REALLY need it (like your furnace dies) you suddenly have a source of emergency funds
Then yes the Monteleone, or maybe the Windsor Court.
and where are the hotels in relation to the festivities? If I remember correctly, both Magazine and Poydras are one way streets in opposite directions (Magazine going towards Canal St. and Poydras going away.)
You can also get them certificates for the spa at many of the hotels (There is a new one at the Grand Floridian)
Turkey and sausage gumbo

And yes cook the carcass and let it cook then strain it through a mesh colander
then go for the things that accentuate what you think of as your good parts. But the important part is yes you have to feel sexy (but that is more of a mind game than anything else) but also what your man thinks makes you look sexy.
Something for the bedroom??? Think teddy's babydolls and corsets or even a nice robe in silk.

There are several companies out there that design and make lingerie specifically for plus sized women.

Levi 505 or ll beans
Slippery Pot Pie
Another place to order from is Herbert's Specialty Meats in Maurice, La (tho they have several other locations including Texas where I think the actual ordering is done from)
Also try their deboned stuffed chickens that you can get with things like broccouli and cheese or aligator and rice. I was home for Thanksgiving and brought back a cooler full for the coming year.
I know it can be hard and he will want to play with his friend, but in the long run he will be better off playng with kids his own age and with comparable skills, that he can teach his younger friend so next year when the younger friend moves up he will be ahead. Plus it will give him chances to make new friends as well.

We did have a kid in the mini-pony division (7-8 y.o. one team of 7 y.o and one of 8y.o.) ) that was 8 but his first year playing and we let him play with the 7 and he wasn't the biggest kind on the team. But he was still in the right division age wise.

The leagues have their age cut-offs for a reason.

so if i were to approach you to take DS so he'd continue to be on the same team, for the 3rd year, with his best buddy from church (a 2nd grader and only 10-mo younger) whom otherwise wouldn't have a chance to play sports together, how would you convince me to drop the request? tks.

First I would look at the other kid and see if maybe he could play up. If that couldn't happen, I would start by reminding you about league rules then I would discuss the fact that your kid might get bored playing with the little kids since it is his third year and that when he does move up with or without his friend he will be behind skillwise with the people his own age. Also since he is older and probably bigger there is a strong possibility that he could inadvertantly hurt someone smaller.

Thank you, kind sir. OP here. It's not a work function, not sure where people thought that. It would be for holiday parties at friends' houses, etc.

Oh well since it's social wear either one - My preference is for the one you originally posted. Every eye in the room will follow you as you walk by.
