If you're over... I'll be generous and say 33 years. If you're over 33 this is not the dress for you-- the skirt is short. You don't have to dress matronly, but it is not a mature look for the holidays.

Well op, it might look shorter than it actually is since the model mat likely has legs for days.

I think it would look pretty good on someone tall and thin, assuming they have shapely legs. I don't think this is OP's issue, but I'd like it on someone with a big bust too.

Definitely not a work place party. I think the dress is too short after 29 even with great legs.
