| OP is your office conservative? Personally, I think the skirt is too short and the sequins make it garish. If you want to wear sequins, go longer and pair it with a more conservative top. |

| It looks like the skirt is elasticized and so can be pulled up shorter (like on the model) or down a little longer( like in real life). I would wear it with black hose on the opaque side. I'm 5'10" and love the sheer top. |

| Love the blue sequined dress. Don't like the black outfit unless it's for new years eve or something like that. But maybe that's because I don't get invited to holiday parties that require formalish attire. |

I don't think either should be worn to a work function, but socially, I'll bet that the OP would look stunning in either one.
And it's not the legnth of the skirt that turns me off to the first dress at a work party but the sequins. |
