My husband and I rent a townhouse and want to get a monitored security system. DH is going away for about three months for work and I want to have one since I will be home by myself with DD. Any other renters have one that they can recommend?

Thanks,
Jen
I agree with the pp. If you work outside the home, you will definitely need an electric pump. I have the ameda pump and I love it. I also have a hand pump at home so I can leave my electric one at work.
Did you try calling the Breastfeeding Center of Washington on 21st and K in Washington DC? I have purchased replacement parts for my Ameda pump there. The website is http://www.breastfeedingcenter.org/

We are going through this right now with my dd. She will actually wimper and whine when she is trying to poop. It breaks my heart to see. We've cut out bananas completely and switched to single grain oatmeal because rice cereal can be constipating as well. My pedi also said to give her pear juice which seems to be helping. We also give her a few bites of prunes every night. All of this seems to be helping.
I delivered at GW and I had a wonderful experience. The nurse I had when I checked in was with me the whole way through and in fact when her shift ended I was getting ready to deliver so she stayed to help me through the delivery! She was wonderful! Also the food was excellent! And boy was I hungry after I delivered!
I feel your pain! I had the exact same problem and mine lasted for all of the 1st trimester and a little into the 2nd. I tried eating crackers and while it kept the nausea at bay, I would still be hungry. For me, I was able to eat cereal. I would suggest just trying different foods to see which ones will get rid of the nausea and combat the hunger pains at the same time. The other thing that my doctor suggested was to take Vitamin B-6 pills and that seemed to help immensely.
Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone could recommend a family dentist in Alexandria. I would like one that has weekend hours, but it doesn't have to. I would like one that takes kids and adults.

Thanks,
Jennifer
