yes he should. He should be punished for not staying w/ his caretaker and for not staying on the sidewalk and for climbing on/through/whatever a fence. All things a four year should know better than to do.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:The zoo should be held accountable. Obviously their safety standards are lacking. How did a kid fit through the rails? This isn't a case of the parents hoisting the child up. Isn't this the same zoo that had the polar bears get loose earlier in the year?

It sounds pretty safe to me, with numerous checks. Unfortunately it's not idiot-parent/caretaker proof.
The original article I read just said he slipped through the bars and fell into the moat. Either way, the child should not be punished for what is the fault of an adult.
Exactly. It's the next business to go. ebay used to be great and now it's overrun with stolen goods or chinese junk that's it's hard to find anything worthwhile (though it can be done.) Amazon is turning into the same thing. I almost never buy anything there any more. I've had too many issues with delayed shipping, astonishingly high prices (like 5 times more than normal retail for something like TP or cat litter) that it's just not worth it anymore. Someone needs to come up with an online retailer that sells American made goods from American sellers and filtered so you get the items closest to your zip code.Anonymous wrote:I am actually trying to stop shopping at Amazon. It sucks now.
