Book to read for second graders. HELP!! ASAP

Anonymous
I found myself in the position of being the reader at my daughter's school TOMORROW to cover for someone who won't be able to be there. Any suggestions? It has to be something that I can read in 20 minutes (actually some readers bring two books) but still appropriate for 2nd graders. Suggestions?

I love reading Runny Babbit to kids that age. It's such fun to read aloud.

It's longer than 20 minutes, but it is divided into stand-alone chapters so you can pick and choose what to read.

Chester and Scaredy Squirrel are always well received. My DC also liked when I read books that were a special favorite of theirs.

OP update: I brought a couple of the suggestions above with me, but some I couldn't find on such short notice. When I got there I showed the teacher my options and we went with "the day the crayons quit" because some of the other ones had been read to them recently.
It was a big hit! The kids laughed and loved it.
Thank you to whoever suggested it and thank you everyone else for helping out.

There is a second part to that book that my kids really enjoy too..."The day the crayons came home." Equally as enjoyable!!
