Colby is need-aware, has no application fee, and no supplemental essay, so lots of kids just tick that box off to apply using the common app.

It’s also one of the few colleges that doesn’t make public its common data set.

They’re playing games—but acceptance rate has a much lower weight in USNews than it used to, so they’re where they belong in the ranking.

But yet Colby’s yield rate is quite high….

Yet, Colby keeps spamming mail box with emails having subject title: "No fees to apply. No supplements to submit. No extra essays to write." TBH, its very tempting for anyone to tick and apply.

Colby is need-blind for both international and domestic students. That's one of the reasons that it's so hard to get into.

And there is no fee to apply. I am not sure, whether Colby is need blind.
Applied end of Nov, and yet to hear from them.

Don't know when they would declare.

Huh

Are you evaluating any of them for your kids?

Pros & cons with respect to our US universities?

Apart from the University of Helsinki, none of the Finnish universities are highly ranked or very well regarded. Lots of better options in the UK and the Netherlands if you're set on a European university, as well as in neighboring Sweden. I assume you have a family reason for focusing on Finland?

What about Aalto, they are ranked 109, while Helsinki is ranked 104

Hi,

I am considering St Olaf for RD round.

Wanted to know, is it EA heavy or not. Don't to waste my time if its EA heavy.

Don't know the date
When are they coming out with their EA / Ed result?

Was there any interview done ?
On Reddit and on Dartmouth discord server, two people claimed to have received a personlized email asking additional info
Some have received email from Dartmouth that their Fin Documents are not complete..

Have you received?

Nowadays, majority are using AI-Based Plagiarism & AI Content Detection to screen the essays.
My DD is interested in English Language program

What is the scene of such program at Ivies and T20s?
Acceptance, admission difficulty, outcome etc

Any idea, by when Allegheny College notifies its EA result?
