Dog owners, why do you do this?

| Help me understand. You’ve brought little blue plastic bags along on your walk and picked up your dog’s poop. (Thank you!) But then, you just drop the bag on the street right outside my house and walk away. First I thought “maybe they’ll come back for it.” But no. Because the next day you came back and dropped a second bag in the exact same spot, next to the first. And then a third bag on the next day, all in a little pile. I’m angry. I’m grossed out. But I’m really trying to understand your thinking here. Do you leave all other garbage in the street, too? How can I make you stop? |

| They do it because they don’t care, and they’re shitty people. What can you do? Get a fence? Catch them doing it and post it on next door? I really don’t know if anything will help someone who leaves a bag of shit on someone else’s property. |

| I don’t know… I’m a dog owner who never does this but I’m also a homeowner who has other people who do this all the time. I live in a townhouse and people just leave their poop bags in the tree bed in front of my house. It’s so gross. |

Am I missing something? The first pp said they have dropped them but went back, picked it back up and continued home. What’s gross about doing that? To the op, I would guess it’s been dropped, unless it’s the same type of bag done several times. |

Who said use a private trash can? There’s two appropriate places for YOUR dog’s poop - a city/public trash can or YOUR trash can. The side of the road or someone else’s property are not options. Dog owners are the worst. |

Why are you dropping bags of poop? No. Carry it with you until you find an appropriate place to dispose of it. This is not hard. |
