Would you name your son Ariel?

Having a very hard time thinking of a name for our son. I really love Ariel but have some concerns that it's considered too feminine in the US and that he may get teased for it. Not to mention the everlasting association with The Little Mermaid.

| I’ve had more male students named Ariel than female (and the female students were often spelled Arielle.) I assume you aren’t pronouncing it like the Little Mermaid. I wouldn’t worry about it. |
