It is my understanding that the President resigned and the President-Elect took over, but that the PTSA is under extreme scrutiny from the VA PTA - essentially a probationary period - and is still in danger of being dissolved if they engage in any of the same overtly political behavior that got them in trouble in the first place. Anti-admissions reform advocacy, stumping for the principal to resign - stuff like that.

I will say that the drama on email and FB parent pages seems to have receded. Recent emails have been all business - volunteer opportunities, etc.
