People who favors merit-based principle are painted as GOP supporters. Who is trying to politicizing it?
|
Aren’t these new PTSA officers openly campaigning for republican candidate for VA Gov? Promoting them in their WhatsApp group and asking for contribution? |
|
The GOP / Koch organizations are politicizing it by sending in professional organizers to local “grassroots” parent groups.
For example, Parents Defending Education is full of Koch associates and Trumphumpers: https://fedsoc.org/contributors/nicoleneily https://ij.org/staff/rachel-hannabass/ Trump appointees: Richey https://www.edweek.org/policy-politics/trump-and-devos-announce-new-hires-at-education-department/2017/06 Aimee Viana https://www.edweek.org/policy-politics/the-controversial-couple-heading-trumps-hispanic-education-efforts/2018/09 |

Nomani is a Trumphumper too:

Correction: He WAS NOT the Leader of the Diversity Committee last year. You are citing meeting minutes he briefed as he put together a STEM provider conference of those organizations that provide free and reduced-fee services for low-income households. You want to lynch him for doing that? |
Given that he spoke for the diversity committee at every PTSA meeting in 2021 before the takeover, he was clearly a leader in the group. https://tjptsa.com/ptsa-general-meeting-minutes/ January 28, 2020 February 25, 2021 March 18, 2021 April 22, 2021 I also don't get the cognitive dissonance. "CRT sucks. We should be color blind!" but then.... "Ignore the fact that we pulled some shady sh1t. People are attacking us because we are minorities! Lynching!" |
We was prominent because he brought together STEM providers that offer free and reduced services together, disseminated that contact information to every middle school counselor in Fairfax, Arlington, Loudoun, and Prince William counties, and coordinated tutor services to low income households in the Hispanic community in Fairfax county. So he is an evil person because he finds CRT flawed and disagrees with the message put out by white saviors that Black and Brown are incapable of learning the same way White and Asian children can? Democrats should reassess why they are seeing people leave their party. |

Source?
These people now moved things to their secret WhatsApp groups and promising Asian and Indian communities a 2nd TJ in Herndon. At the same time actively promoting Republican agenda and candidates for VA Governor |
He isn't an evil person. He belongs in politics. He should be running for a seat on the School Board instead of leading what is supposed to be a non-partisan organization that has no role in questions about admissions. |
WhatsApp groups are not a research papers. What evidence do you need? |
There are no plans for another TJ. NONE. |
I fully believe that some snake oil salesman is trying to get a rise out of WhatsApp parents by promising a new TJ in Herndon as a line item. The recent renovation of TJ cost over $100M, and there was already a fair bit of infrastructure that they had to work with. Unless their idea is to buy the King Abdullah building in Floris from the Saudis, this ain't happening. FCPS has been intermittent about yearly teacher raises for about 15 years. Building a new TJ would be INCREDIBLY unpopular. |
|
LCPS should open a new TJ if there is so much demand. And/or open their sci/tech HS to none-LCPS students.
FCPS has already spent enough time and money on TJ/AAP. |
And that's wrong because ???? |
They may well be. However, we (Asians, Indians, etc) are not the fools you think we are. We know not to vote for a republican governor or president while at the same time voting out extreme communist/leftists at the local level. Watch the next school board elections. |
