I’m LOLing a bit at the 46 year old saying how great she looks. There is a world of time between 46 and 52 for us women. Perimenopause is like DOG years for aging. You can go 26 to 46 and barely age, but it will all hit you between 46 and 56. Unless you are J Lo apparently.

As has been emphasized at nauseam earlier on this thread, not everything had to do with race, including most of the criticism here- which has been equally thrown at white Ben. It has to do with the fact that they both gallivant from relationship to relationship and neither seem like particularly present or stable presences for their impressionable, still young children. Jen G gets praise for seeming like a grounded parent who keeps her personal life private, and doesn’t uproot her kids lives for every new relationship she’s in.

I agree with you. I think SJP looks great, considering she's probably had a lot less work than J Lo (who also looks great, but the comparison is unfair). Anyone can have an unflattering facial pic taken in harsh sunlight etc.

Why for fu@ks sake is how she looks such an enormous focus here? Yes, she's beautiful. And rich...she also has a troubled, chaotic relationship history and has been divorced three times. She recently suffered a devastating break up. She is all of these things. They are all a part of her....looking beautiful has its limitations. It does not prevent pain or loss or aging, not matter how much it is fetishized here. It does not make life a cakewalk nor does it make her an exceptional person internally. I think these are two separate conversations. I don’t believe anyone is suggesting that beautiful people don’t have difficulty in relationships. The pool of men may be larger for as a result. Her fame also puts her in a fishbowl so my guess is the pool of men isn’t all that large. Fame is not enviable. IMO
