The fact that you’re bringing up her hair color is ridiculous. Getting one’s hair colored is more common than not and you don’t have to be rich and famous to get it done regularly.

She looks good but it’s not as outrageous as people think. I’m 46, eat and drink what I want, haven’t exercised in over a year, and got carded yesterday. I personally think I look about 40 but a lot of people are surprised I’m over 35. I don’t know why. My parents looked very young until their seventies, I was sn athlete as a kid, and I don’t have kids—those are the only reasons I can think of. My diet and skin care routine aren’t good.

I am 52 with white hair and I got carded. Its not for the reasons you think, it is a legal requirement in some places.

It’s a legal requirement where I live if the bartender thinks the purchaser is under 30.

In the After picture she looks like a Latina Melania. She would make more money off of a step-by-step book cataloguing what exactly she did to look like this at 52. I mean every single thing, lotions , potion, collagen pills, fillers, lasers, schmasers, strings, etc, than if she made another movie.

I agree. I also think she may have had lipo and in all honesty, good for her if she did.

I heard an interview with her - I think it was Terri Gross/Fresh Air. She is incredibly driven. I give her mad props for keeping her momentum into her 50's.

She used to be such a beautiful woman > now sadly she looks like a common ol’ granny.

Similar women in JLo’s age range do not look like they are still in their prime.
Mariah Carey looks bloated, Gwen Stefani looks very plastic + Renee Zellweger looks like a completely different person these days.

White woman here who agrees J Lo is a modern miracle and am glad she’s having some fun getting laid by Affleck-I’m guessing that’s one of his best skill sets.

The pic above of Matthew Broderick is so great—pretty much exactly how you’d think the kid from war games would age. I totally love him. He’s like the geek kid that fell into a movie star role but never stopped being the geek kid. Staying married to him is probably the thing I like best about SJP, but I don’t think she looks bad either. We can’t all be J Lo.

I’m LOLing a bit at the 46 year old saying how great she looks. There is a world of time between 46 and 52 for us women. Perimenopause is like DOG years for aging. You can go 26 to 46 and barely age, but it will all hit you between 46 and 56. Unless you are J Lo apparently.

I think JLo has always been cute and looks great. In the candid shot, it looks like she has some kind of under eye filler and she's definitely had botox. Her skin looks fantastic. I think the lighter hair suits her skin tone and gives her that beachy carefree look that makes people look younger too.

I love the picture at the top of 22:18’s post. People who argue she doesn’t look good then or now, that she’s had a ton of surgery, and that her appearance is common or unspecial are totally delusional and I’ve always felt there was a nasty classist, ethnic hatred of JLo. That photo of her I’m mentioning came at a time when a LOT of the white women I knew then (and I’m a white Latina) said a LOT of nasty stuff about her body, especially of course her ass. Look at her now.

I will see I feel like the photo of SJP is taken in the harshest light, and that her sunglasses are awful for her face shape. I am the lone woman who thinks she looks great and that keeping her grey/white hair mixed with the blonde looks cool.
