Here is how to transfer to any high school in the area

Jackson is right about the racism. Looks like Hayfield is being blackballed. The school isn’t even getting much press from the Washington Post.

If a white coach would have come and turned a football program around the way Overton has, every sports news outlet in the country would be praising the guy. This is crazy what’s happening to Hayfield.

Turned it around? There was nothing wrong with it.

I have never seen a public school sports team have such a collection of grifters, hangers-on, never-do-wells, assistant "coaches", random relatives, and weirdoes following a coach around like three ring circus groupies.

Ita bizarre.

I’m very curious as to when and how the schedules are determined. Hayfield plays nine FCPS schools. However, they do not play Lake Braddock Woodson, McLean, Robinson or the undefeated 4-0 Langley Most of them with the exception of South Co, WSHS and Chantilly are quite small. Why is it that their Did you get a tea today not only game not FCPS is against a small school in Loudoun county. Luck or Unlucky of the draw?

Hayfield plays in the weakest football district (or conference) in Northern Va. It’s due to demographics. Until this season Hayfield was on par with the other teams.

It’s been converted into an undefeated program and championship contender.

My shih-tzu could coach a team of assembled superstars to beat a non cheating high school team. Cheating is not an accomplishment and winning does not mean jack here.

Hayfield last season was a respectable public school team with its fair share of great players. Now they are a laughingstock and the butt of jokes. That's something to be ashamed of, not celebrate.

Now, If this coach had shown up and coached the real Hayfield team--with no transfers--to beat Chantilly 70-0, that would be an amazing story.

Their schedule is reasonable based in Hayfield's record last year and geographic location. No one anticipated the principal allowing the biggest posse of all stars and con artists to assemble and use Hayfield's facilities and school program for nefarious ends.

I can't imagine any parent posting a video like that from the sidelines (why are they even there?) or calling themselves "the chaplain"....and this nutter isn't even a parent, just some crazy off the street?

I can't believe its still up TBH.

Can someone send it to VHSL, Reid and Mateo Dunne? And the PP who said VHSL has ruled about who is on the sidelines, can you make a VHSL complaint? I haven’t seen the video and know nothing about VHSL rules, but I don’t think people should drop this if violations are ongoing.

Its all public on this kook's instagram.

I thought this was an exageration but just wow to this whole thing. The insane facial expressions!

And VHSL district realignment only happens every few years. If Hayfield remains a football powerhouse, then it may make sense to move up to the stronger Patriot District.

ACHS (former TCW) could move down to the weaker National District. But I doubt that will happen since Alexandria is growing that school to roughly 6000 students. So there should be no lack of talent for a competitive program there.

A 6000 student high school on that tiny piece of property is almost as crazy as this football cheating scandal.

Hayfield's 9-12 enrollment is not that large and between that and its location it plays in a weak district composed largely of smaller schools with substantial numbers of kids who don't play sports and/or have after-school jobs. They played some tougher, out-of-district teams at the beginning of the season and obliterated them. It will only get worse.

The whole thing stinks and it's just intended to allow a Black principal and a sleazy Black coach to flex about a football team. The fact that this is OK to Reid and the School Board tells you all you need to know about their own lack of integrity.

Alexandria can’t split up the high school because of the Remember the Titan legacy. Or that was the reason given, in a nutshell.

You really think this guy won't get fired at some point this year?
